With designs commissioned by their founder, Anthologist’s ceramics represent a return to authenticity. Each piece is hand-painted in an Athens workshop, a place they share with an artisan from a long line of ceramicists on the island of Crete.
The modern and simplistic dot design reflects Anthologist’s cherished merging of two worlds and eras, symbolising order and harmony and echoing the Hellenic fascination with geometry and symmetry. The orderly dotted pattern is believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune.
