Moon Babies

"Moon Babies" is an abstract artwork that takes viewers on a whimsical journey through a celestial dreamscape. The scene presents cave-like setting and symbolic eggs, inviting viewers to ponder the concepts of birth, innocence, dormant potential, as well as the anticipation of new beginnings.
It explores the juxtaposition of fragility and strength, darkness and illumination, as well as the mystical nature of creation.
Mixed media painting collage on cradled wood panel, shaped MDF panel/ cradled aluminum composite / canvas. Various mediums—acrylics, ink, acrylic markers, pens, and acrylic spray paint—are applied to wet-media polyester film to build layers of depth and texture. These elements are cut and collaged onto the panel, then sealed with a coat of resin that encapsulates the layers, making them appear unified and visually fused together. Signed on the back.
